The top ranked Investment Funds team at Gowling WLG has advised on three recent transactions involving listed real estate investment trusts (REITs), which raised in aggregate £300 million. All three transactions completed within the last two months.

Partner Oliver Riley, assisted by senior associate Laura Dobie, advised Peel Hunt LLP, as sponsor, broker bookrunner and intermediaries offer adviser, on the placing, open offer, offer for subscription and intermediaries offer by LXi REIT plc which raised £200 million.

Oliver Riley, assisted by associate Craig Griffiths, also advised Peel Hunt LLP, as sponsor, broker bookrunner and intermediaries offer adviser, on the placing, open offer, offer for subscription and intermediaries offer by Regional REIT Limited, which raised £62.5 million.

Partner John Reed, assisted by Laura Dobie, associate Hannah Misso and trainee Dominque Gustave-Nielsen, advised Aberdeen Standard European Logistics Income PLC in respect of its placing, open offer and offer for subscription which raised £46 million, and in respect of which Investec Bank plc, acted as sponsor and bookrunner.
