On September 17, 2020, Northwood Capital Partners Inc. ("Northwood") acquired Northstar Propane Ltd. ("Northstar").

Northstar is an established retail propane company serving residential, commercial and retail customers on Vancouver Island. 

Northwood is a Calgary-based private capital firm focused on investing in high quality leaders building great businesses with compelling growth opportunities.

Gowling WLG advised Northwood on this acquisition with a team that included Scott McLeman (client team leader) and Steve Will (transaction team leader), Jason Mullins and Stephen King.
