On March 29, 2021, AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME) announced that it had acquired Crank Software Inc.

AMETEK, headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. 

Crank Software, headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, is a leading provider of embedded graphical user interface (GUI) software and services.
