Aurania Resources closes overnight marketed public offering and private placement

On April 1, 2021, Aurania Resources Ltd. (TSXV: ARU) (Frankfurt: 20Q) ("Aurania" or the "Company") announced that the Company had closed its previously announced overnight marketed public offering of units of the Company, including exercise in full of the over-allotment option, for gross proceeds of approximately $7.77 million. Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation was lead underwriter and sole bookrunner for a syndicate of underwriters including Canaccord Genuity Corp. and Echelon Wealth Partners Inc. The offering was completed pursuant to a short form prospectus in Canada in the provinces of Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. 

Subsequently on April 7, 2021, Aurania closed its previously announced private placement of units for gross proceeds of approximately $1.25 million. Aggregate gross proceeds of both the public offering and private placement were approximately $9 million.

Aurania is a mineral exploration company engaged in the identification, evaluation, acquisition and exploration of mineral property interests, with a focus on precious metals and copper in South America. Its flagship asset, The Lost Cities – Cutucu Project, is located in southeastern Ecuador.
