Entrepreneurial Equity Partners invests in Ya YA Foods

On March 2, 2021, Chicago-based private equity firm Entrepreneurial Equity Partners LLC announced that it had invested in Ya YA Foods Corporation alongside the Abbas Al-Ali family which will maintain a significant ownership stake.

Ya YA Foods is a Toronto-based contract manufacturer of a broad range of aseptic food and beverage products including plant-based and high protein beverages, fruit juices, sports drinks, broths, and specialty milk and dairy beverages.

Gowling WLG advised Ya YA Foods with respect to this investment with a team that included Ian Palm, Tiffany Lee Bianchi and Harrison Sversky (corporate), Christina Pawliszyn (real estate) and Lisa MacDonnell (financing).
