FinTech startup Flahmingo Investments raises $1.88 million in pre-seed funding round

In September 2021, Flahmingo Investments Inc., a Calgary-based FinTech startup, raised CAD $1.88 million in its oversubscribed pre-seed funding round.

Founded in 2020, Flahmingo is a commission-free fractional investment app that utilizes an automated Pies and Slices model. With this model, Flahmingo automatically invests a user's funds into publicly traded companies or ETFs the user chooses, with percentages they specify. Users can fund their accounts with scheduled deposits, automatic roundups, and one-time deposits.
