On January 25, 2022, Ashfield Engage, a division of UDG Healthcare plc, announced the acquisition of Montréal-based Medaxis, a patient engagement services partner for the life sciences industry, providing services to healthcare professionals and patients.

Ashfield Engage, which has a Patient Solutions offering specializing in patient engagement, education and consulting programs across the globe, is set to bolster its capabilities in Canada with the addition of 40 Medaxis employees.
