In May 2022, Toronto-based tech-enabled fulfillment and last-mile delivery startup GoBolt acquired Montreal-based e-commerce logistics provider BoxKnight.

GoBolt was founded in 2017 as a tech-focused consumer self-storage startup but has since pivoted into providing fulfillment and last-mile logistics for e-commerce businesses, with a particular focus on sustainability through its fleet of electric vehicles.

Gowling WLG advised GoBolt with respect to this acquisition with a team that included Todd Bissett and Mathieu Santos-Bouffard (corporate/M&A), Olivier Lamoureux (employment) and Fabienne Racicot (real estate).
