Mucci Farms target of strategic investment by Cox Enterprises, following a five year partnership with Novacap

On June 3, 2022, Cox Enterprises announced a significant strategic investment in Mucci Farms. 

Headquartered in Kingsville, Ontario, Mucci Farms is a vertically integrated grower that supplies fresh produce to major retailers across Canada and the US. The industry leader has greenhouses in both countries with a dedicated team of more than 2,000 employees. With annual investments in world class technology, Mucci Farms places a high emphasis on automation and robotics to improve efficiencies from seed to retail.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Cox Enterprises is a global company with US$20 billion in annual revenues and brands that include Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book and Cox Homelife. The company strategically invests in new industries and emerging technologies, with sizeable interests in clean technology and health care. 

Novacap is a leading North American private equity firm with over C$8 billion of assets under management.
