Our Paris Banking & Finance team has advised investor Clarion Partners Europe Limited on supporting fund Clarion Europe Logistics V on its acquisition and financing of a logistics asset in a future state of completion through a Société Civile Immobilière (SCI) from Quartus Logistique.

The approximately 93,000m² warehouse, located in Boisseaux and Barmainville, France, is adjacent to a 74,245m² site acquired in the future state of completion by Clarion Europe Logistics V at the beginning of 2021 and completed the same year.

A credit agreement was finalised earlier this year between the SCI owners of the two assets and ING Bank N.V. to finance the acquisition of the new warehouse and refinance the first warehouse.

Gowling WLG France advised Clarion Partners Europe Limited on the acquisition and financing, with the team comprising Real Estate partner Sylvain Canard-Volland and associate Kieran Mauffrey, as well as Banking and Finance partner Danhoé Reddy-Girard and associate Kamarya El Yaagoubi.

Clarion Partners Europe Limited was also assisted Le Breton Notaires.
