A cross firm team has successfully been reappointed to the legal panel for Sanctuary to provide support as its strategic legal partner, and on property, development & construction matters.

Established over 50 years ago, Sanctuary is one of the leading UK housing and care providers. It now provides housing and care in England and Scotland, to more than a quarter of a million people.

The cross-firm team was led by real estate partner Jacqueline Knox and principal associate Gemma Courtenay, with support from partners, Navin Prabhakar, Şenay Nihat, Jeremy Millington, Paddy Arben and Sue Ryan, Ruth Griffin, Andrew Litchfield, legal director Angela Rawlins and principal associate Frank Beeton.

The appointment is for a four-year contract. Jacqueline Knox will continue as client lead partner, with Navin Prabhakar joining as deputy lead partner on the strategic legal partner lot, and Gemma Courtenay as deputy lead on property, development & construction.

Jacqueline Knox, partner at Gowling WLG, said: "We are delighted to have been reappointed to continue to work with Sanctuary, following our long-standing relationship with them over many years. We have worked with them on many exciting and market-leading projects and look forward to continuing to work in partnership with them to assist in the delivery of their mission to build affordable homes and sustainable communities where people choose to live."

Susanne Dodd, Sanctuary's Director – Governance and Legal Services, said: "Our purpose is to serve our customers and communities, and everything we do as an organisation is driven by our mission and values. It's important that these are also reflected in the partners we work with to deliver on those goals."
