Transchem Group target of cross-border acquisition by Dover

On January 17, 2024, Dover (NYSE: DOV) announced that it had acquired Transchem Group ("Transchem"), one of the largest suppliers of car wash chemistry and associated solutions in North America. 

Transchem is headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, and employs approximately 80 people. Transchem has served the car wash industry for over 45 years and is known for its high-performance cleaning and chemical solutions, including the premium Turtle Wax® Pro product line, True Vue 2 chemical management systems, ClearWash water reclaim systems, and Digital Mosaic, a technology platform that enables car wash operators to manage subscription and loyalty programs.

Dover, headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, is a diversified global manufacturer and solutions provider with annual revenue of over $8 billion. The company delivers innovative equipment and components, consumable supplies, aftermarket parts, software and digital solutions, and support services.
