International corporate practice advises RefrigiWear on European acquisitions
2
Our international corporate practice, led by Partners Chris Towle (UK) and Dr. Michael Lamsa (Germany), has advised US-headquartered insulated work apparel provider RefrigiWear LLC ("RefrigiWear") - a portfolio company of Sentinel Capital Partners - on its acquisition of one of Europe's largest suppliers of insulated workwear, Fortdress Group GmbH, and its Dutch subsidiary, Cold Tex B.V..
Chris Towle and Dr. Michael Lamsa were supported by Andreea Serban, James Arnold and Katie Dunnaker (all UK), Micha Gersdorf, Hanno Guellicher, Annette Knoth and Anne Nolde (all Germany) from the wider Gowling Corporate team, alongside Dutch counsel Rutgers & Posch LLP.
Commenting on the transaction, Chris said: "We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to continue supporting RefrigiWear in the second phase of their strategic bolt-on acquisitions as they grow their European portfolio and it was a great opportunity to showcase the strength and depth of our German team, who were instrumental in delivering the local aspects of the transaction on time and in the sensible and commercial manner that our clients require."
