For the fourth year in a row, Gowlings has been recognized as a leading Canadian and Russian patent firm by Intellectual Asset Management in the 2015 edition of IAM Patent 1000 — The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners.
The renowned publication identifies the top patent practitioners in key jurisdictions around the world. It ranks intellectual property litigation and licensing firms according to gold, silver and bronze bands, and distinguishes prosecution firms and individuals by categorizing them as “highly recommended” or “recommended.”
Gowlings was one of only three firms with a Canadian presence to be listed as a recommended international firm. It also had its strongest showing to date in the guide’s individual rankings section, with 17 professionals recognized in Canada and Russia as leading practitioners in their field.
In Canada, Gowlings was ranked as a gold-band law firm for litigation and transactions, and was listed as highly recommended for patent prosecution.
Gowlings was also recognized among the top IP firms in Russia, receiving a gold ranking for litigation and transactions as well as being listed as a recommended law firm for patent prosecution.
