IP Stars names Gowling WLG as a leading international IP firm

13 February 2017

Twenty-seven intellectual property practitioners from Gowling WLG have been distinguished as "IP Stars" by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), one of the world's foremost IP publications.

This year's edition of "IP Stars" has ranked the firm highly across five of the firm's key jurisdictions: Canada, UK, Russia, UAE and Germany.

Released annually, "IP Stars" identifies the leading IP firms and practitioners around the world. Results are based on extensive research carried out over a six-month period. Among the attributes the guide assesses are: strength of the firm's IP team, workload, outcomes achieved for clients and track record.

Teams are ranked in two categories: "Trade Mark Contentious" and "Trade Mark Prosecution". Individual practitioners are also ranked in two categories: "Trade Mark Star" and "Patent Star".
