Gowling WLG named one of the UK's best workplaces for the 18th consecutive year

26 April 2018

Gowling WLG has been named as one of the best places to work in the UK for the 18th consecutive year.

The UK's Best Workplaces™ rankings have been published by Great Place to Work® and the firm is ranked 28th in the large category (organisations with 500+ employees).

Gowling WLG is one of only two companies which have been listed every year since the survey began in 2001, and is the only law firm to appear on this year's list.

Chief executive David Fennell said: "We're absolutely delighted Gowling WLG has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK for the 18th consecutive year.

"We're incredibly proud of our people and the outstanding service they consistently deliver to our clients in the UK and worldwide, and the enthusiasm they have to grow and improve our business. Celebrating this milestone is the perfect opportunity for me to acknowledge the hard work and commitment they have shown over the last 12 months.

"The Great Place to Work® survey provides us with regular and invaluable feedback from our people, which is vital in telling us where we are getting things right, and where we need to improve.

"Feedback from last year's survey resulted in the firm introducing new initiatives such as agile working, improved pay and reward and increasing our internal communications and engagement. We are by no means complacent though, and the most recent feedback has brought out new themes for us to work on over the next 12 months."
