Gowling WLG tops Canadian M&A league tables; ranks among UK, European and global M&A leaders

In Bloomberg's M&A legal advisory league tables for the first three quarters of 20191, Gowling WLG continues to outperform as a global M&A leader when measured by deal count. The latest results show that the firm has widened its lead over the second ranked firm for Canadian transactions and maintained a top ranking for UK, European and global mid-market M&A2.

Gowling WLG was ranked #1 for Canadian M&A, having been credited with 94 Canadian transactions so far this year, 26 deals more than the second ranked firm, and is on track to achieve a record number of transactions in 2019.

In separately published mid-market M&A league tables, Gowling WLG again ranked #1 for Canadian M&A, having been credited with the same number of deals as the next two ranked firms combined. It also ranked #10 for both UK and global M&A and #18 for Western & Eastern Europe.
