Gowling WLG global IP leaders recognised by WIPR

20 February 2019

Sixteen individuals from Gowling WLG's global Intellectual Property (IP) team in Canada, Russia, the UAE and the UK have been named leading practitioners in the field by World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) in the WIPR Leaders 2019 guide.

The handbook identifies more than 1,700 professionals in the areas of patents and trademarks. The recognition stems from a four-month nomination period in which WIPR sought views from 12,000 IP practitioners and explored the work of each individual candidate.

Those listed are selected based on their practice history, industry expertise and notable cases, as well as any additional activities, such as writing and teaching responsibilities, which have allowed them to shape and influence other and future IP practitioners.

The following professionals have been included in the WIPR Leaders 2019 guide:

  • David Aylen
  • Alexander Christophoroff
  • Vladislav Ugryumov
