Gowling WLG praised across the board in the Chambers UK 2021 rankings

Gowling WLG has again been praised for its "hugely respected" and "outstanding" legal and commercial prowess as the latest Chambers & Partners UK rankings results are revealed.

The leading international law firm again secures top tier rankings in the UK, London and the West Midlands in 2021, across its range of practices and sectors, including Real Estate, Corporate, Government & Public Sector, and Technology.

Based on independent research, client and peer feedback, Chambers & Partners recognises firms for technical legal ability and team depth, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, and value for money.

In total, Gowling WLG achieves 44 leading rankings in 2021, bolstering the firm's legal market credentials advising clients in the Capital, the Midlands and throughout the UK.

Of the latest figures, Gowling WLG registers 14 prestigious 'Band 1' rankings, including 'stand-alone' top banding for Construction and Intellectual Property, as well as marked success for Corporate, Energy & Natural Resources, Environment, Employment, Life Sciences, Pensions, Real Estate, and Retail advisory.

Highlighting the firm's legal talent at all levels, a total 75 lawyers are recognised by Chambers & Partners for their exceptional client service, 14 of whom feature in the elite 'Band 1' and 'Eminent Practitioner' lists of Top Ranked Individuals. An additional three lawyers are named as "Star Individuals", with two more named "Associates to Watch" and one Gowling WLG lawyer named "Up and Coming". Overall, the firm records nine new lawyer inclusions at all levels in 2021, as 17 lawyers achieve upward ranking moves this year.

The latest rankings follow stand-out results in The Legal 500 UK 2021, in which the firm recorded 68 practice area rankings, and 60 individual accolades across London and the West Midlands.
