Shelagh Carnegie and Marina Drel recognized among the top female IP lawyers worldwide by MIP

Shelagh Carnegie and Marina Drel have been named among the top female intellectual property (IP) lawyers in the world in the 2020 edition of Managing Intellectual Property (MIP)'s "Top 250 Women in IP."

Published annually since 2013, the Top 250 Women in IP list recognizes senior female IP practitioners in private practice worldwide who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.

Carnegie, a Toronto-based partner and leader of the Canadian Trademarks Group, and Drel, a Moscow-based partner, were also named MIP "IP Stars" in their respective jurisdictions.

In addition to the MIP ranking, Carnegie and Drel have both been consistently recognized as leading IP lawyers by many prestigious legal directories, including Best Lawyers, World Trademark Review 1000 and Expert Guides: Women in Business Law.
