Four Gowling WLG lawyers from the firm's global IP team have been named as 'Rising Stars' in Managing Intellectual Property's (MIP) 2021 'Rising Stars' list.
The fourth 'Rising Stars' guide to be published by MIP highlights the sector's up-and-coming practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally well for their firms and clients in the past 12 months. The results are based on extensive research using information submitted by firms, market and client feedback, and publicly available resources.

This latest announcement continues a successful year for Gowling WLG's global IP team, following widespread recognition by MIP over the last 12 months.
This year, the team has been distinguished for its market leading legal work in the latest edition of MIP's 'IP Stars' Copyright & Related Rights, IP Transactions, Patent and Trade mark firm rankings, with 38 professionals across China, Canada, France, Germany, Russia, UAE, and the UK, securing a total 50 individual accolades in the leading guide's 'IP Stars' practitioner rankings.
The firm also secured top honours at the Managing Intellectual Property Americas Awards 2021 and EMEA Awards 2021, with IP teams in Canada (Trademark Contentious), the UAE (Prosecution) and the UK (Designs) prestigiously named 'MIP Firms of the Year'.
