MIP names Kate Swaine and Lynne Watt among the 2021 "Top 250 Women in IP"

Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) named Gowling WLG partners Kate Swaine and Lynne Watt among the top female intellectual property (IP) lawyers in the world in its 2021 global list of the "Top 250 Women in IP."

Published annually since 2013, the "Top 250 Women in IP" list recognizes senior female IP practitioners in private practice across 30 jurisdictions who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.

Swaine, a UK-based partner and Co-head of Intellectual Property, Global, and Watt, an Ottawa-based partner, were also recently named MIP "IP Stars" in their respective jurisdictions earlier this month.

In addition, the firm's market-leading IP practices around the world have been distinguished in the MIP "IP Stars" 2021 patent and trademark rankings.
