Benjamin Na, managing partner of Gowling WLG's Toronto office, has been named one of Canadian Lawyer's Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers for 2022, earning a spot in the Business category.
Canadian Lawyer describes being included on the list as "a clear recognition of hard work and dedication in rising above the unique challenges that the industry has faced over the past 18 months." The annual rankings, based on a survey among readers, remain one of the publication's most well-read features.
Benjamin was nominated based on his standing as a natural leader and inspiration for clients — particularly in the Asian Canadian legal community. He also serves as a mentor to countless younger associates and practitioners, and remains deeply committed to both his practice and his community.
An accomplished lawyer with more than two decades' experience, Benjamin was elected managing partner of the firm's Toronto office earlier this year.
In his role as managing partner, Benjamin works with his colleagues to create unique client experiences across all practice areas, helping bolster Gowling WLG's standing as a top sector-focused global law firm.
Prior to his election, Benjamin led the Toronto office's Advocacy Department and served on its Management Committee. He was also senior counsel at Canada's largest financial institution.
