MIP names Alexandra Brodie and Shelagh Carnegie among the 2023 "Top 250 Women in IP"

Managing IP (MIP) has named Gowling WLG partners Alexandra Brodie and Shelagh Carnegie among the top female IP lawyers in the world in its 2023 global list of the "Top 250 Women in IP."

Since 2013, MIP has published the "Top 250 Women in IP" list, which is the result of research conducted across 30 jurisdictions. The annual list recognizes senior female IP practitioners in private practice who have demonstrated outstanding performance and engagement for their clients and firms in the previous year.

Alex Brodie, a UK-based partner and co-head of the firm's global Tech group, and Shelagh Carnegie, a Toronto-based partner and co-head of the firm's global IP group, have consistently been recognized as MIP "IP Stars" in their respective jurisdictions.
