Land use planning lawyer Peter Gross rejoins Gowling WLG as partner

Gowling WLG is pleased to announce that Peter Gross has rejoined the firm as a partner based in Toronto.

Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Municipal Law, Peter focuses his practice on land use planning law, with an emphasis on helping clients navigate Ontario's development approval processes. Acting for municipalities and developers alike, he frequently appears before various land use tribunals and courts, representing clients on a range of land use planning appeals and defenses of regulatory prosecutions.

"Tenacious, practical and resourceful, Peter has significant experience helping clients chart a strategic course through Ontario's complex development landscape" said Mark Ledwell, managing partner of Gowling WLG's Toronto office. "We are delighted that he has chosen to resume his practice at our firm.

As part of his practice, Peter advises planning and technical experts to ensure that development applications satisfy the requirements of Ontario's policy-led planning regime, regulatory requirements and all applicable legislation. Peter also liaises with municipal staff to proactively resolve issues and facilitate submission and processing of development applications for Gowling WLG clients.
