Gowling WLG welcomes Micky Yang as corporate partner to consolidate our indirect real estate practice

Gowling WLG has welcomed Micky Yang to the firm as a new corporate partner to strengthen our indirect real estate practice in the UK.

Micky joins the firm with a wealth of experience advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters including structured investments and joint ventures, with an exclusive focus during the last decade in the real estate sector.

Prior to joining the firm she was an Of Counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills in London where she spent her whole career as an English solicitor.

Commentating on her appointment, Micky said: "I'm thrilled to have been given the opportunity to join such a talented group of professionals with a real passion for real estate.

"I am looking forward to building on an already great indirect real estate practice and to playing my part in cementing Gowling WLG's reputation as one of the strongest teams around in the real estate sector, working hand in hand with my new property colleagues as well as my corporate, funds, finance and tax colleagues focusing in the sector.

Micky's appointment has been followed by Gowling WLG announcing the promotion of nine new partners as of 1 May.
