Alex Davidson

Alex Davidson is a London-based corporate principal associate who advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including IPOs on AIM and the standard and premium segments of the Official List, public and private fundraisings, venture capital and private and public M&A.

Alex also has experience in and has assisted with public company compliance and corporate governance.

  • Advised Liberum and Peterhouse on two public fundraisings for Helium One Global, the primary helium explorer in Tanzania, raising in aggregate £16.7 million.
  • Advised dairy technology company, National Milk Records, on its recommended cash acquisition by Associated British Foods for £48 million.
  • Advised Eden Research plc, an Oxfordshire-based company focused on developing sustainable biopesticides and plastic-free formulation technology, on its fundraising of up to £11 million and its associated capital reduction.
  • Acted for AIM quoted Concurrent Technologies plc in relation to its public fundraising of up to £6.8 million.
  • Acted for Cairn and First Equity on Golden Metal Resources PLC's admission to AIM.
  • Advised Cenkos Securities on two public fundraisings for AIM quoted SkinBioTherapeutics raising, in aggregate, £11.5 million.
  • Advised H&T Group plc, the UK's largest pawnbroker, on its raising of gross proceeds of £16.9 million.
  • Advised Andrada Mining Limited, an African tech-metals mining company on a $22.8 million public fundraising.
  • Advised Rimkus Consulting Group Inc. on its major cross-border acquisition of CCi Global.
  • Advised Berenberg and Canaccord on Greatland Gold PLC's $16 million secondary fundraising.
  • Advised Pyx Resources Limited on its dual listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
  • Advised SP Angel on Spectral MD's IPO and £11.3 million fundraising.
  • Advised Memery Crystal on its sale to RBG Holdings plc for £30 million.
  • Advised Revolution Bar Group on numerous secondary fundraisings, in aggregate, raising approximately £36 million.
  • Advised Cenkos Securities plc and Berenberg as joint bookrunners on AIM-listed company XLMedia plc's oversubscribed £24 million placing and subscription as well as its open offer to raise up to an additional £3 million from qualifying shareholders.
  • Advised Reorg, a global provider of financial and legal intelligence, on its acquisition of Aggredium Finance Limited, a specialist in European sub-investment grade credit bond and loan data.
  • Advised Britannia Bud, a wellness company focusing on the UK and European cannabis markets, on its strategic partnership with a UK laboratory.
  • Advised CSX listed PlantX Life Inc. on its £8 million acquisition of Bloomboxclub Limited.
  • Acted for Phoenix Copper, a US base and precious metal exploration and development company, on its £18.4 million public fundraise.
  • Advised Hummingbird Resources plc on its acquisition of a million-ounce gold project in Guinea.
  • Advised AIM-quoted Bushveld Minerals Limited on its conditional acquisition of vanadium and ferrovanadium production assets in South Africa for $68 million.
  • Acted for Shore Capital (as nominated adviser & broker) on the £10 million placing for AIM-quoted, SysGroup plc, a managed IT service and cloud hosting provider, and its £9 million acquisition of Certus IT Limited.
  • Advised main market listed Levrett plc on its reverse takeover of Nuformix and associated fundraise.
  • Advised a UK company on the £12 million recommended public takeover by a telecommunications service provider.
  • Advised on the merger of two premium listed VCTs to create a VCT with a total net assets of approximately £73 million by means of a scheme of reconstruction.
