Alexandre Farag
Alexandre Farag is an associate in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, practising in the area of commercial and civil litigation, particularly in areas related to product liability, construction, insurance law, professional liability and disciplinary law.
Alexandre is also involved with the Bar of Montreal, sitting on the Liaison Committee with the Court of Quebec, Civil Division.
Alexandre joined the Gowling WLG team as a student in 2019 before doing his articling in 2020.
Alexandre holds a Bachelor of civil law degree from the University of Montréal. He also studied Chinese law at the University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China.
Passionate about politics and international relations, Alexandre first majored in international relations at the University of Montréal. He also won first prize in the bill drafting contest hosted by the university's Law and Politics Committee.
Alexandre is known for his involvement in social and academic initiatives. He was vice-president, placement, follow-ups and events at Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC). He was also involved in the University of Montréal's mediation clinic as a mediator-in-training and sits on the Board of directors of the Regroupement québécois de la danse.
