Amy Kallio

Amy Kallio is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Amy obtained her JD at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where she completed an option in Health Law. During her studies, Amy worked as a legal intern with the in-house legal team of a global athletic apparel company. Additionally, she worked as a research assistant for the Centre for Health Law, Policy and Ethics at the University of Ottawa and for the Common Law Faculty of Law.

Prior to entering law school, Amy worked for a national insurance company for nearly nine years gaining experience working in claims and marketing. Most recently, she worked on the national rebrand of the company and the ongoing integration of the new brand.

Amy has an honours bachelor of arts from the University of Guelph, where she also competed on the varsity swim team.
