Arnaud Le Lièvre

Arnaud Le Lièvre is mainly involved in renewable energy and infrastructure project finance, corporate finance and real estate finance.

In the renewable energies sector, he advises banks and investment funds as well as independent power producers.

He assists clients in setting up project financing outside France. He also acts for mezzanine lenders.

Prior to joining Gowling, Arnaud Lelièvre worked as a lawyer in an international law firm in Montreal (Quebec), where he practiced acquisition finance (LBO) and corporate finance.

Arnaud Le Lièvre holds a Master 2 in Banking and Finance Law from the University of Le Mans (2015) and a B.C.L from the University of Montreal (2019).

He is admitted to the Quebec Bar since 2021 and is to the Paris Bar since 2023.


  • Managed and followed-up financing and refinancing transactions (lenders and borrowers' side), as well as a transaction related to the reorganization of a leading Canadian pharmaceutical company on its corporate and financing aspects (transfer of the registered office, spin-off into three distinct entities in anticipation of an IPO). Prepared checklists and drafted a wide range of corporate and finance documents. Followed-up with local counsels in many jurisdictions in America, Europe and Asia.
