Bailey Russell

Bailey Russell is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Calgary office.

Bailey completed her JD at the University of Alberta, where she volunteered for Student Legal Services, participated on the graduation committee and served as a student mentor.

Prior to law school, Bailey completed a bachelor of business administration at St. Francis Xavier University, graduating on the Dean's List. During her undergraduate degree, Bailey was extensively involved in the student community working at the campus bar and alumni office, as well as participating on the JDCC marketing team, acting as a marketing representative on the Schwartz Business School Board and as an executive member of the school's welcoming committee. While completing her degree, Bailey had the opportunity to work with a Ghanian NGO to harness her marketing abilities. After completing her undergraduate degree, Bailey worked as a marketer in software.

In her free time, Bailey enjoys skiing, yoga, running and reading.
