Camilia Maniti is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Montréal office, where she practices in the Business Law Group. Her practice focuses on private sector mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and commercial law. She has advised clients from Canada, the United States and Europe on a wide range of transactions.
Camilia holds a LLB from the Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University, with a major in microbiology and immunology.
Before her law career, Camilia was a volunteer at the research laboratory on the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) of the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research at the Jewish General Hospital. During her university studies, she was involved with Juristes engagées, a service offering legal information to various Quebec organizations, as well as with Project Genesis, a non-profit organization dedicated to defending civil rights.
