Carly Jacuk

Carly Jacuk is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, working in the Advocacy department. Her practice focuses on insurance defence and professional liability, which includes defending health care professionals in regulatory proceedings and civil litigation matters.

Carly has advocated before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. In both her oral and written advocacy, Carly takes pride in developing and delivering strong arguments in a well-reasoned and articulate manner, always with an eye to advancing her clients’ interests.

Carly obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa after working for several years in social services. Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Carly practised at a litigation firm in Ottawa, primarily in insurance defence, professional liability and employment law.
