Chloe Ilagan

Chloe Ilagan is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. She will be focusing her term in the Intellectual Property Group.

Chloe completed her JD at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, Chloe was an editor with the Ottawa Law Review, served as co-president of the Tax Law Society, and assisted with research on legal technology and access to justice. Chloe previously interned at a boutique law firm in Ottawa.

Prior to law school, Chloe completed her BSc (Hons.) in life sciences with a minor in biology from McMaster University. She worked for a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Chair, co-authoring four publications on informal care.

Chloe has volunteered with numerous organizations in Ottawa, including Reach - Equality and Justice for People with Disabilities, the Canadian Health Coalition, and the Women’s Legal Education & Action Fund (LEAF). She enjoys spin class and playing battle royale video games.
