Coral McMillan

Coral McMillan is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office. She completed the JD program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.

During law school, Coral was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing program as well as a junior editor on the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues. Coral spent her first-year summer working at the Legal Assistance of Windsor clinic, representing clients in housing and public benefits matters. She advocated on behalf of her clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Social Benefits Tribunal. Currently, Coral is a research assistant for the Canadian Bar Review.

Prior to law school, Coral worked for the Child and Parent Resource Institute as a quality improvement assistant, where she was responsible for auditing client documentation and program data to ensure the accuracy of information and mitigate organizational liability.

Coral holds an honours bachelor of arts in political science from Brock University.

In her spare time, Coral enjoys hiking, gardening and travelling. She also played soccer and ringette competitively for over a decade.
