Courtney March

Courtney March (she/her/hers) is an associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Advocacy Department. She is a member of the firm's Employment, Labour & Equalities Group.

Courtney advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship, including: termination and discipline-related issues, health and safety, employment standards, privacy, accessibility, and human rights. She regularly assists employers with drafting and revising employment contracts, progressive workplace policies, and employee handbooks. In addition, Courtney represents employers in wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights complaints, and labour disputes.

Courtney has appeared before a variety of administrative boards and tribunals, as well as the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Divisional Court, and Ontario Small Claims Court.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Courtney practised general civil litigation, employment and labour law, defamation, police law, and administrative law at a mid-size law firm in Ottawa.
