Dominic Sinnott

Dominic is an associate in the firm's construction & engineering team in London. His practice has a particular focus on international arbitration and he has acted for clients across a broad range of jurisdictions in connection with major and complex energy, infrastructure, process plant and construction projects around the world. He also has experience advising clients domestically, assisting in the resolution of disputes both pre and post action, drafting settlement agreements and key correspondence as well as providing advice in real-time as events occur.

Experience

• Process plant, Northern Europe: Belgian-seated ICC arbitration advising an international engineering solutions company on a dispute arising out of a project for the rebuild of an industrial facility in northern Europe.
• Water treatment project, Libya: Advising on disputes arising from the construction of a waste water treatment plant in Al Beida, Libya, during the Libyan Civil War.
• Purchase of defective goods, Italy/Oman: London-seated ICC arbitration advising an Italian steel rolling mill on a dispute arising out of defective goods purchased from an Omani steel mill.
