
Bio
Emma Murray is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.
Emma received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in the English Common Law section, where she graduated cum laude with a specialization in public law. During her studies, Emma was a senior editor and special projects manager of the Ottawa Law Review, and co-authored a book on the impact of artificial intelligence on legal journals that was published by the University of Ottawa Press.
Prior to entering law school, Emma obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Western University and a Master of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. Emma also worked full time as a researcher and program evaluator at a charitable organization specializing in youth mentorship.
In her spare time, Emma is a passionate sports fan and nature photographer.
