Emmanuelle Champagne

Emmanuelle Champagne is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Emmanuelle obtained her Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees in the French Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. She was the recipient of the University of Ottawa B.Com/J.D Plaque for achieving the highest average in the program. During her studies, Emmanuelle worked as a legal intern at a sports dispute resolution service. She was also a teaching assistant in the Property Law course and a research assistant on projects related to negligence and comparative law.

Emmanuelle competed in the Michel Bastarache Moot on language rights, where she finished in first place for Best Advocate, Best Team and Best Factum. She also participated in the Laskin Moot in administrative and constitutional law.

Emmanuelle is fluent in both French and English. In her spare time, she loves riding her Peloton bike and travelling.
