
Bio
Eric Flowers is a summer student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office. He is entering the third year of his juris doctor at Western University. He holds a bachelor of arts in political studies and economics and a master of public administration from Queen’s University.
Eric is interested in litigation and advocacy. In his first year of law school, he volunteered at Western’s Community Legal Services Clinic, focusing on civil matters. Eric has also competed in several trial advocacy competitions and was awarded a finalist in Western Law’s internal trial advocacy competition. He went on to represent the Western Law at both the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Cup and the Arnup Cup.
Prior to law school, Eric worked as a legislative advisor on Parliament Hill, providing policy research and strategic advice to a member of parliament on the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. He also served terms on the Queen’s University Senate and contributed to policy review as a member of the Non-Academic Misconduct Sub-Committee.
Eric brings to his legal career a blend of academic achievement, public service and advocacy experience, and is committed to pursuing a practice that reflects these strengths.
