Fiona Nicholls

Fiona oversees the Environment, Social Governance (ESG) Strategy and has specific responsibility for two ESG areas - environment and assurance. In these roles, Fiona co-ordinates preparation and delivery of the Strategy, directs the firm's Planet+ programme and drives internal audit. She also looks after certification to five adopted ISO standards, external sustainability reporting, client audit requests and data assurance. Fiona has 20+ years sustainability/ESG experience spanning public, private and social enterprise sectors, as a consultant and as an in-house practitioner and strategic lead.

Experience

• Adoption of an ambitious public environmental policy in 2017
• Chair of of the PLANET+ Team (including four partners)
• Established the Assurance Team and represented audit on the Risk Committee
• Led the publication of the first public sustainability report
• Drafted the first ESG Strategy
