Grace Li

Grace Li is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office in the advocacy department. She completed her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto.

During her legal studies, Grace worked at Downtown Legal Services, where she represented underprivileged individuals in housing law matters. Grace was also an active moot participant, placing first with her school at the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot. She went on to coach the winning team the following year.

Prior to attending law school, Grace completed her bachelor of commerce at Queen’s University. At Queen’s, she was a senior editor for an undergraduate global think-tank, where her focus was on business in the Asia-Pacific region. Grace was additionally the vice president of the Queen’s Debating Union and adjudicated at the World’s University Debating Championships.
