Gregory MacNeill

Greg MacNeill is a scientific research advisor in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, working in the Business Law Department.

Greg works in the Advertising & Product Regulatory Group reviewing scientific data, publications, and preparing product submissions on behalf of clients to submit to Health Canada.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Greg worked for a national funding agency supporting academic research collaborations, helping write grant applications and projects and business development initiatives. Greg earned a PhD in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Guelph, worked for an environmental consulting firm focused on remediation of petroleum contaminated soil, and has done science communication outreach work outside of his on-campus teaching and publication of textbook chapters and articles.
