Haleh advises for-profit and not-for-profit affordable housing providers on a variety of real estate matters including land acquisitions, disposals, turnkey and golden brick deals, development agreements, residential and commercial leases, infrastructure agreements, licences and easements. Haleh also acts for investors in the acquisition and letting of supported living schemes, using both asset and corporate structuring models. Additionally, Haleh provides clients with general property advice on a wide range of matters such as boundary responsibility and lease interpretation. Haleh uses a pragmatic and collaborative approach to find appropriate solutions for her clients and drive deals forward with a focus on the 'end goal'.

Experience

• Advising for-profit and not-for-profit affordable housing providers on various section 106 unit acquisitions on a golden brick and turnkey basis, assisting in the delivery of a large volume of new affordable homes for shared ownership and rent.
• Advising clients on infrastructure agreements and easements within tight timescales to enable the provision of accessways and services in large residential developments.
• Acting for investors on the acquisition and letting of supported living schemes, acquiring properties thorough both asset purchases and the acquisition of shares in a special purpose vehicle (SPV), including negotiating the terms of voids and nominations agreements.
• Implementing a process to deal with the acquisition of a large portfolio of properties to provide housing for homeless adults.
