Hayley Blackwell

Hayley Blackwell is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office.

Hayley completed her JD at the University of Western Ontario. She was awarded the Law Society of Ontario prize for ranking among the top 15 students in the graduating class.

At Western, Hayley provided research assistance to several of her professors in the areas of bankruptcy law, labour and employment law, human rights law, and tax law. She was also a member of Western's 2021 Jessup Moot team which won the Canadian National Rounds and ranked 11th among the 574 teams in the Global Rounds.

Prior to law school, Hayley completed her Bachelor's degree in Business and International Studies at Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON. She considers Hamilton home and is excited expand her legal knowledge and experience with Gowling WLG.

Outside of work, Hayley enjoys listening to audio books, drinking craft beer, and collecting antique cameras.
