Heidi Newbigging

Heidi Newbigging is Head of Responsible Business in the UK. Heidi leads the Gowling WLG (UK) LLP's Responsible Business strategy which forms part of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. As part of her role Heidi develops partnerships with our local community, leads on social mobility, pro bono and has developed our volunteering programme.

Experience

Heidi has worked in Responsible Business for over 20 years working mainly for global law firms but also spent some time working in the voluntary sector and consultancy roles. Heidi is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. For 18 years Heidi also chaired the CR Legal Network, a network of corporate responsibility professionals working in law firms.
