Ian Therrien

Ian Therrien is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Ian completed the BCL/JD program at McGill University. During his studies, he participated in numerous Intellectual Property Law Student Association (IPLSA) activities.

Prior to entering law school, Ian completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, earning the highest distinction. He has several publications stemming from his undergraduate research in organic electronics as well as his work with Canada's Department of National Defence. Ian has also worked as a process engineering student at a corn processing plant.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys playing guitar, golfing and scuba diving.
