Isabella Papalia

Isabella Papalia is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. She is completing her JD at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law.

Enthusiastic about advocacy and personalized client relationships, Isabella’s passion has been nurtured through her studies of law at University of Windsor and psychology with a minor in Law and Society at Concordia University. By participating in mooting experiences such as The Legal Research and Writing 1L Moot and Zuber Moot at Winsor Law, Isabella has worked to refine her oral advocacy skills.

Isabella’s commitment to excellence extends beyond her academic and professional endeavours to her extracurricular activities. As a member of various associations and clubs, including Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues and the Windsor Sports and Entertainment Law Club, Isabella actively engages with her peers and contributes to the legal community. Her involvement in the Peer Mentorship Program and partaking as a judge for the Legal Research and Writing 1L moot highlights her dedication to supporting fellow students as they navigate the challenges of law school. Her commitment transcends academics to active involvement in legal associations and volunteering with organizations such as Variety Quebec, an organization that works hand in hand with Isabella’s enthusiasm and passion for the film industry.
