Jaanam Mahboobani

Jaanam Mahboobani is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Jaanam completed her LLM in International Business Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Jaanam completed her law degree at Middlesex University in the UK. During her time there, she was a student learning assistant, a member of the Middlesex Law Society and a part of the mediation and negotiation team. She also undertook various internships and pro bono work.

Alongside her LLM at Osgoode, Jaanam was a member of the student committee and volunteered at a food bank.

Prior to law school, Jaanam volunteered at Prestige Legal Clinic in Kano, Nigeria to provide pro bono legal services and raised awareness on domestic violence in the northern area of Nigeria.
