Jay Lu

Jay Lu is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Jay completed her JD/BCL degree at McGill University, with a major concentration on commercial negotiation and dispute resolution. During her studies, Jay completed a clerkship with the Municipal Court of Montreal and competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she worked as a legal intern for a Canadian Crown corporation and as a legal student at a major airline.

Jay has strong community ties including volunteering with the Legal Information Clinic at McGill and the Law Student’s Legal Advice Program.

Prior to entering law school, Jay obtained her BA from McGill University, with a double major in political science and world religions. While completing her undergraduate degree, she was active in student government and worked on the Mental Health Policy of the Student Society of McGill University.
